Sirius Black

Despite only having met him a few weeks ago, Sirius is already among one of the Doctor's favorite people in the city. He recognizes and appreciates Sirius' sense of adventure and mischief, as well as his desire to be a good person. Also: FLYING MOTORBIKE.

Conrad Achenleck

Conrad took the Doctor by surprise. He seemed at first to only be someone whose nerves were wound too tight, but after talking to him for a while it was easy to see that underneath that was a good heart. The Doctor does think Conrad could stand to relax, but at least he understands why Conrad freaks out so much.

Jack Harkness (future version)

The Doctor is glad, if a little concerned, to see Jack in Bete Noire. It's good to see a familiar face, and nice to have someone around that the Doctor knows he can trust. But Jack is also another sign of how wrong the city is.

Rapunzel

Sweet, spunky young lady who comes off like a bright, bright light in the midst of this ever-so-dark city and is the living embodiment of a fairy tale? Oh, he likes her. If this were the old universe, she's just the kind of person he would have offered to take with him - unfortunately, as things are, he doesn't really know what to do about her.

Bonnie McCullough

They've only spoken once over the Network, but it went well. She seems sweet and she can follow him when he goes into "fast talking" mode... and she reminds him, just a little, of Amy. He wouldn't mind running into her again.

Some OvMennet

A little wary of those teeth, but on a personal level the Doctor likes his earnest demeanor. He's giving Some the benefit of the doubt for now (anyway, whatever he's designed to eat, it's hardly his fault).

Very clever for 21st century. A helpful source of information.

The Doctor (Ninth)

OH GOD, WEIRD... is basically the Doctor's reaction to his amnesiac ninth self. Yes, he likes him - he's fond of himself, after all - and is intensely curious about what happened to make him lose his memory. However, he's also wary of spending too much time with him. Bete Noire may have an apparent resistance to paradox, but old habits die hard.

Dr. Owen Harper

Wary. They may not be in England anymore, but Torchwood is Torchwood.

Walter Kovacs

A potentially helpful source, given his propensity to observe. Unfortunately paranoid.

ooc, bete noire
