speaking on behalf of guys who stress too much over girls we like, let him know that you think he's cool or whatever and talk to him. we're usually stressing because we think too much, and you talking to us will make us think that she's talking to me. . .cool. . .begin relaxing around her. we wanna impress and in so doing usually try to hard and scare people away.

And I agree with ^^^. We try soo hard to be impressive at times, that it seems downright stupid at points. Give him a shot, let him get comfortable with you, and you will both be fine =]
