Hopeful and Hesitant

I'm hopeful that the job interview i went to on friday pans out. It was for an electricians apprentice position. If I get the job it's a 5 year commitment, meaning it'll take 5 years to get my license as a journeyman electrician. On one hand I want this because the company will pay for my schooling and testing, as well as having a regular 40

Paintedvale is a shire made up of students from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, as of now. We're not exclusive-non art kids are welcome too. We've only been an official Amtgard group for two weeks now but we've been meeting and fighting since September. We're having a lot of fun so far, we have about seven people out a week and we're working on building ourselves a decent arsenal. But the thought of carrying a pole arm on the subway worries me. We'd love to have visitors. Paintedvale meets in the biggest patch of grass we could find on the island, Central Park. We play behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art, (more specifically near the obelisk) on Sunday afternoons. We're small and close-knit enough that times could probably be sifted for people's schedules.

We're about three hours from Manhattan. Not everything in New York is NYC. There's a park about an hour and a half from us, outside Syracuse. If we stay, we'll most likely start a park in Binghamton, which we've talked about before, since we'd have the time and money to do it.
