Anti-OTP: Kay/Kyllikki

Kay is, as usual, circulating to make sure all the proper work is getting done. People, he's found, are hopeless when left to their own devices.

But he'll admire work well done when he sees it. Mildly impressed, he says, "It's a comely garden, lady."

She smiles a little; she has never been immune to praise, and she thinks it a finer kind of praise to be congratulated on her work than her beauty. "Thank you, for saying it ... I could do nothing else but make a garden, when the magic departed, but if it is comely--"
