Legacy Time!
This is a little picture heavy. Apparently my Sims had their children at just the right time so everybody aged up within 2 days :) And I like to take pictures a bit too much.
First we find the Parker household in full-out baby-crying crisis mode:
After getting the little ones to bed, Clara grabs a minute to catch up on some reading for work.
The kids are too cute when they aren't causing chaos ^^
Hal decides to take up painting to help pay the bills now that I made him quit his job to be a stay at home dad he willing left the force so his wife could attain her lifetime wish of being an International Super Spy.
The next day, the first birthday arrives and the lovely Clara becomes an adult! In her PJs no less:
Meanwhile, Rhys learned how to go to the bathroom all by himself!
The next day is full of birthdays, so Clara catches a quick nap once she gets home from work:
Rhys is the first birthday of the evening:
Next is Hal and Clara actually gets out of bed for this one:
Followed shortly by Lydia:
And the whole family goes to bed
The next days Rhys runs off to paint
The family as a whole. Lydia and Rhys may have received a little makeover...
Clara decides to teach Lydia to walk
And to talk!
Rhys decides to keep busy with some blocks
And once Lydia is asleep, Rhys and Clara go play tag
The family then settles down to the burnt wonderful dinner Hal had been cooking. It's supposed to be Mac and Cheese...right...
Rhys passes out shortly after eating his "dinner"
The next day Hal wakes up early and decides to take a trip to the mausoleum after hearing rumors about gems being found there. Please ignore the car, Hal brought it with him when he moved in and cried when I tried to change it...
He comes out looking much worse (those zombie bear attacks hurt!) but manages to find one more uncut gem to bring home
Clara comes home from work to find Rhys doing his homework and a much better looking bowl of mac and cheese from Hal.
The family uses the money from Hal's paintings and Clara's promotion at work to build a bedroom!

The next day is a busy one with a double birthday party for the kids. It's the first party they have been able to throw so they decide to make it fancy. Hal needs a nap before things get started though:
First up is Rhys who turns into a teen! (While Clara's partner Hunter is playing on the computer...sigh)
Nice suit...He also gained the Family-Oriented trait.
Lydia gets to turn into a child and gains the artistic trait
The family heads to bed post-party, except dear Lydia who decides she needs a wardrobe change asap:
These were Rhys' default PJs
And his default everyday outfit. This is the reason I tend to re-dress my Sims right after they have a birthday.
That night the kids work on homework together and complain about their parents
