RPF, Michael Shannon/Jessica Chastain, I have totally requested this at probably every ficathon, but I am sorry! That time he interviewed her for Interview magazine is just too charming!:
[after discussing her fear of flying and the ritual she does before a flight]
CHASTAIN: Oh, god, I gotta get off. What if this interview is my final interview?
SHANNON: No, this cannot be your final interview. I promise. I will do my own little ritual for you. I will fold a little paper airplane and fly it around.
CHASTAIN: But you can't let go of it.
SHANNON: I won't let go of it. I'll do a very smooth landing with it in honor of you. Okay, I gotta go eat. I'm hungry.
CHASTAIN: [laughs] My life is at stake, Mike!
SHANNON: Don't say "steak." I'm hungry.
CHASTAIN: Go. And I've gotta go take off. All right, Mike. Keep me afloat, man.
Q: Bill Hader -- who has been a castmate of yours before, aside from SNL -- is in PAUL as well. When is the eventual Wiig-Hader starring vehicle ever going to be made?
KRISTEN WIIG: I would hope soon. I adore Bill and I love working with him and considering the amount of time we spend together [laughs] and work together, I could never get sick of him in a million years. He's one of the funniest guys I know and one of the nicest guys I know.
