rape could be debateable but your 2nd example isn't. Because that woman had sex willingly. I would hope that woman would understand that there is a chance she could become pregnant. Ignorance isn't an excuse in the court of law.

Actually even with rape.

Slavery ... slaves didn't have the choice to be held or free. If you asked them I'm sure the would of wanted to be free.

Now, if a woman is raped ... and becomes pregnant (which is very rare) ... you can't ignore the human life that is now present. So in that case, you would be again ... redefining life based on the situation this time. Or if you aren't redefining life and saying well yeah it's life but this is different. Then you're putting value on something else besides a human life. The biggest (and only reason that I would know of) why a rape victim would have an abortion is the child reminds them of that action. Well, adoption gives the ability to not only save that child, but give that victim the same escape abortion does. Only less dangerous both physically and mentally.

ah, you bring up a good point... but you're missing one important fact. Any act has consequences and risks, she may try to prevent pregnancy, but simply committing the act puts her at risk of becoming pregnant. This is like getting into a car, and doing your best to prevent an accident. Just like operation of a vehicle constitues liability to any and all actions thereafter, so should sex. If you choose to have sex, you must be held responsible for any results. If there is a baby, it's your responsibility. Abortion simply is murder. If there is a life, and it is taken without consent from said party, then it's murder ( ... )
