It's terrible that all of these natural disasters have happened in such a short amount of time. I'm sure that impacts how much aid can be distributed...I'm so sad especially for the people of Burma because of the ridiculous junta still refusing most of the aid offered. They're damning their own people, as usual. =( China is a horrible disaster too (due to the nature of the earthquake--thankfully their govt. has been much more receptive of aid). This is all just too sad...Though I'm not religious, I can't help but pray for all the people have been killed and displaced in these disasters. My heart goes out to them.

On a better note, it's wonderful about same-sex marriages being un-banned I'm with you hoping that the ruling will be upheld!

Way to go, California! Gavin Newsom continues to impress. He really should run for governor or something.

And it was funny how Cooper kept repeating that couples from all over the country could get married. It's like, "Hmmm, maybe some TV news anchor that lives in New York City is planning a weekend trip to California next month ?"

gavin newsome is speaking at commencement at SFSU this year. i am SO MAD. we got neil fucking young. what the fuck is that?

he spoke at sfsu a few times while i was there. he is a sexy bastard.

and i hope anderson starts wearing a wedding band on the air.
