I was quite upset about the lack of comments on my angry black person entry. C'mon guys I used NUMBERS and STATISTICS!

well, you did peg the reason why people argue for affirmative action.
I agreed and didn't think that it needed expanding on.

And don't use numbers and statistics. They can be manipulated too easily. It also makes me want to throw bricks. Instead of numbers and stats, go with a blanket statement.
"Black people have a radically higher risk of being murdered than white people."
You can cite your source, or just wait for someone to counter-argue...then you show them the source of your statement.

yah i almost linked you to an NPR segment i heard recently that had some stats that countered yours.. but i couldnt find it. its just one of those things where everyone has their own interpretation + stats, and i just cant figure out whom to believe.

I dunno. The US Census and the FBI seem like reasonable places to get reliable information from. Unless of course, 2+2≠4.

But then again, NPR is usually pretty right on too...
