So, as promised, here are my vacation pictures! I took a ton of them, so I'll just spam you with my favorite ones. I don't really have any from Eyecon, so I'll just show you the highlights of Seaworld, Universal Studios, Medieval Times and Busch Gardens, mmkay?
This was actually at the stingray pond at Seaworld, but I was captivated by the birds, instead. I love his graceful neck.
Okay, so I did take pictures of the stingrays, too.
This might be one of my favorite dolphin pictures that I took. He looks so happy to have the trainer showering him with attention.
I know they're completely manufactured, but there really were some nice habitats set up for the animals, both at Busch Gardens and at Seaworld.
I LOVE dolphins, don't you?
The manatees were kind of disappointing. They didn't do much of anything; just floated there. And they're not so cute when they're really big. Go figure.
Okay, so the shows at Seaworld? Really pretty cool. And I got some neat pics, too.
Okay, so then the next night was Medieval Times. Most of the pictures I took were from the grand parade at the beginning; I didn't get much of the jousting and all that (the time delay on the camera makes the action shots a BITCH) but I think I still got some very nice ones.
I thought the Master of Ceremonies (or whatever he was called) had the most beautiful horse.
Okay, so then on Wednesday, we went to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. I didn't take very many pictures there, because, hello, it's just rides and tourist stuff, but I did take a couple.
Here's Jeffrey meeting Captain America and showing off his patriotic jello. Hee, he's such a goof sometimes.
Eeeee, X-men! (and Spiderman and Captain America)
Some of the scenery WAS really well done. This was actually kind of a lame ride, but really nice to look at on the way in.
Okay, so, my favorite photo day was definitely the day we went to Busch Gardens. Hello, animals!
This was a waterfall in the monkey habitat. Fake, but really well done.
And another one, heh.
My favorite monkey photo. I was really pleased with how it turned out.
They had one "ride" that took you over a lot of the larger habitats, which was really cool and let me take some awesome arial photos.
And of course, there were birds there, too.
Of course, since we were in Florida, there were tons of flamingos. :P
There was one we nicknamed the Emporer, because he kind of bossed the other ones around, heh. I got an artsy sort of shot of him:
And then there was another one who was "grooming" this little boy when he'd put his head towards him.
And there were LIONS!!
And RHINOS!
And TURTLES! (OH MY) :P
Also, dragons, lizards, snakes, frogs, alligators...
But I think my favorites? Were the meerkats.
So, those are the highlights! If you want to see the rest, my Photobucket album IS public, so just go ahead and click!
Hope you enjoyed them!
