What I love about Jerry is that you get the feeling that even though they tease him so much, if someone out of their department (and Ann) teased him, they could get annoyed by it, because that's what these characters are. I love that.

So much love for this post. ♥ I only recently discovered this show (thanks to Netflix) and blew through the first two seasons, and you've articulated exactly the reasons I find it so fantastic - especially the Ann-Leslie friendship. Definitely bookmarking for reference!

The Leslie-Ann friendship is just wonderful - when they brought Ann/Mark in I thought it was doomed, but they moved around it so perfectly. I'm so glad you watched this show! I just adore it.

Leslie-Ann could've gone wrong in so many ways, especially when they put Mark and Ann together, but not only did they solve that easily within a couple of episodes, their friendship only continued to grow and work fantastically well and believably. It makes me so happy. I don't think there's a warmer show on TV right now.
