it is the one thing we must always be

I haven't spoken here at all about how much I'm looking forward to Brave, which is ridiculous, because there have been at least five separate instances in the last month where I've zoned out completely for over an hour and looked up only things related to this movie, gathering things to feel ridiculously excited about. Oh god, I am so excited for this movie! I love that it's female centered! I love that it's going to be darker than Pixar's past stuff! I love, love, love the concept art they released (specifically the piece you pointed out.) I love that she has red hair! I think my favorite thing is that it's Pixar's first fairytale, because I am a lover of fairytales through and through. Basically, I am madly in love with everything this movie is going to be!

i absolutely adore your excitement for this movie, because it's totally rubbing off on me. while i'm never as OH YAY WOMEN AND GOD WE'VE WAITED LONG ENOUGH FOR A MOVIE LIKE THIS as you are, i can admit that YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND I AGREE WITH YOU (Except that you know, i am lazy and don't bother putting things like this into words as often as i'd much rather fangirl other things)

BUT I LOVE YOU FOR PUTTING THIS POST TOGETHER. it is epic.

have a pixar icon.

No love interest?
Holy crap, if this is true, I'm going to die. It would be AMAZING. Brave is an automatic must-see in my book, but that synopsis makes it sounds wonderful, and a lack of a love interest even more so.

In regards to #1 and #10, it's about time. WALL·E is my favorite Pixar film by far, but it's also their most tech-based (obviously). I'd really love to see more nature and natural landscapes in their repertoire.

I thought this was going to be released at Christmas. :(
