The Stanford Early Music Singers concert is tomorrow at 2:30 in the new Bing hall! The hall is pretty incredible. It's at Campus Drive and Lasuen Street, pretty close to The Oval. Managed to catch 3 kittens today. It took them long enough to come out for the food, that we're assuming #4 didn't make it. Now I am desperately in search of some place for them to go. Well, that was an interesting experiment. I made my first ever batch of steel-cut oatmeal in the crockpot Friday night, and had it for breakfast 3 days in a row. Wow, that stuff is *filling* -- I wasn't hungry for hours after eating it. I forgot to prep it last night, so ended up having a meal-replacement bar for breakfast today. Well, my cheapo little $40 on CL vacuum is dying on me. Any recommendations for an inexpensive replacement? Took Indiana in for his shots today (my city has mandatory rabies shots/licensing requirements). I had noticed a lump on his shoulder a while ago, but with all the family stuff going on, that was kinda on the back burner. Turns out it's a mast cell tumor, and has to come out.
