Thanks! And in terms of being underwhelmed, I know exactly what you mean---I was more impressed by all the history I was reading/hearing, how the baths were constructed and the complex functioned as a unit, than the experience of the actual baths, which were so filled with tourists that it was tough to appreciate them on an aesthetic level. The only thing that even came close to giving me that shiver associated with Really Old Stuff was the Athena head, and that's more likely because I come from a college where we worshipped her (only half in jest; I found our campus's statue of Athena last May and laid a Snickers bar on it before submitting chapter 1).
