doesn't want her to bring the stuff into the house as it means there will be only one serving size of food for each meal that they eat at the house and he can't handle the small portions of food that would be placed on his plate

uh, how big exactly is Robert? The thing is..weight loss is like alcoholism...you cant start to fix the problem till you admit there is one. He has yet to admit there is a problem with is weight and thus he is acting resentful to everyone forcing him to change just because everyone else is unhappy with their weight. It sounds like he is careless in more than just eating, he is careless when it comes to taking responsibility for his debts and for supporting his family...even if he doesnt want to change he should support the fact that everyone else does and instead of riding him about changing, perhaps just ignoring the subject all together and when you guys are thin and happy he will eventually (hopefully) realize that he's fat and unhappy and want to change...if that's the case.

my suggestion on this rant would be to support Grandma...support each other and give up dealing with Robert.

Robert is about 5"10 give or take an inch, he might even be 6"1 and since we do not know his real weight because he won't say except a lie to his possible girlfriends that he only needs to lose 70 pounds to get to 300 pounds, we are estimating his weight to be at over 420 pounds and gaining as when he sits down in a chair he looks huge in the middle and he doesn't stop to talk, he'll talk while he's eating, only pausing long enough to get a few words in before stuffing his face again
