Is there even a point to trying to wash blood out of their clothes?
Blood just stains, and the work just keeps drawing more. Dean hates seeing Sam's blood, but he hates throwing out Sam's clothes even more. It feels like tossing out his brother, piece by piece. Feels like thin splinters of failure each time.
He's not careless, though. Neither of them feel like haunting a Goodwill or a hobo someday, thanks. Bloody clothes get lightly salted and thoroughly burned, and the ashes get tossed. Even dried blood can be used against you - blood magic is nasty, and witches are cruel.
They've already learned that laundry lesson the hard way.

Dean fucking hates pineapple.
Seriously, it's fucking disgusting. Who likes that shit? Jerkwads, that's who.
Listen, I just don't like my food to try to eat me back, Sam, yeah, thanks. Get it out of my face. Y'know, why can't you like just some- some oranges or, I dunno, peaches. Eat some peaches like a normal damn human being, huh?
Frickin weirdo.
Ugh, gross. We are not related. I'm unbrothering you. No, shutup, you're not eating that in my car, you heathen.
Any prompt? After celebrating the life of Asa Fox. They go to have breakfast and they realize Sam is really sick. Dean, Mary and Jody take care of him. Bonus points if after being in hell Sam has his sense of pain distorted somehow and it is hard to tell when something is wrong, so Dean is extra watchful. Like something like, his appendix is bursting and he has a high fever, but it takes them forever to figure out what it is because his stomach just "hurts a little".
