I thought 5 would be Sam's favorite Harry Potter because Harry's all discovering his inner darkness, which is a constant issue for Sam.

She settles into the chair, draws her knees up to her chest, and leans over to rest her head on the mattress beside Sam’s thigh.

I'm thinking 'head' should be 'hand'? Either that, or Jess is very contortion-y. :D

Jess IS very contortion-y :D but also, I visualize her kind of leaning sideways here so her head and the side of her leg are resting on the bed.
