OMG, this is exquisite! Especially that last section, there's a rhythm or cadence to it that is mesmerizing.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that I adore outsider POV, and it's fascinating to see Castiel's take on things before he himself takes an active role in the Winchesters' story.

Yes I did. I thought I commented on it, but apparently not. Anyway, I am really loving this, all the thoughts about what brothers are and the way Cas is drawn to Sam. It's so intriguing and I can't wait to see where you go with it.
