Title: Headache (Part I of ?)

AN: I hate to miss deadlines or to disappoint so... I'm posting this unbeta-ed. Forgive me. All mistakes are mine. Also, this got away from me. 15 pages in and I decided to post, do some housework and finish this at another time.

I loved this part, “I wish you had called me right when you started feeling ill.” She spoke softly. “I know your being part of our family is new to all of us, but you are part of us. I signed on to take care of you just like I take care of Seth. You don’t have to hesitate calling me out of work. You got that?” so straightforward, but the 'soft' stopping it being a harsh reprimand, making it more of a statement.

Well, I didn't really fulfill the second part of the sentence about the TLC... I could turn it porny... I bet you'd like that. Except, I'm no good at writing porn.

That sounds like an awful headache! It's easy to picture Ryan not wanting to bother Sandy or Kirsten. It's just his nature. :) I'm glad the school nurse took the decision out of his hands!

Headaches can be really really bad. I've never had one that severe, but they've laid me out!

Mean cliffhanger.
And so much potential in this first chapter already.
All the medical history to fill out might give Kirsten a deeper look into Ryan's history. Not sure, if she is really ready for that ride.

Now I'm scared for Ryan and hope you continue this soon, so we find out, what is going on.

Ooooh, nice! (As may have been obvious considering the sentence, I have a... thing for headache!Ryan. Hm. Let's leave Freud out of this, shall we?)

I'm really enjoying this so far--Kirsten's concern (in fact, most of the adults' concern), Ryan's insistence on not being a bother, and the S1 feel of it all (back when everyone was still trying to get to know everyone else).

Can't wait for more, famous! :) Thanks so much!
