I like it famous! At first I worried Ryan was going to have big boy jail in his future but Sandy is right, it wasn't his fault.

And Marissa...I guess she's off to Greece.

I actually contemplated having Ryan sit in jail, but as I wrote the story just evolved. In fact, the phone conversation wasn't supposed to be the bulk of the story! Yet as it often does with writing, this just took off on its own.

Marissa... Greece. Hawaii. A boat. Who cares. I did prefer her being dead.

But you were nice and didn't kill her. Poor Ryan wouldn't deal well being the only survivor. But as you know, he would survive because he's Ryan and he's awesome!

I love the father/son interactions between Ryan and Sandy. I especially loved when Ryan asked for his lawyer and his dad, and Sandy said that he was wearing both hats. :) So cute.

I like the idea of Sandy being Ryan's lifeline, his tether, his safety net, not just his lawyer, but also his dad.
And Ryan admitting, that he needs both.

Thanks, Kat. I always felt that Sandy was Ryan's lifeline in many ways. So that was easy to write.
