On Monday I went out and bought a bed rail and when I got home we took down a side of Isabella's crib and put the rail up. She's showing signs of starting potty training soon (though we know it's early and will likely be a long process) so we figured this would probably be a good step in that direction. We got a swing-set over the weekend for Isabella. A couple at church caught me the prior weekend and said they had a swing-set that their granddaughters had grown out of and asked if we'd like it. So they brought it over on Saturday and Isabella is having a ball with it. It's got a glider, 2 swings, a hanging bar and a slide ( Read more... )

Last night we took Isabella to "Cookie Cutters", a kid's haircutting place, where she got her first professional cut. She needed some trimming because her bangs were the only thing she's ever had cut before, but to be honest I don't like the cut. They trimmed off all the dead ends, which was good, but it left a mullet-shaped hairstyle. And frankly ( Read more... )
