Random post is random. Anyhoo, ever since my son came home on vacation with the news that EA had released the entirety of Sims 2 for free (the offer is now over), I have fallen into a Sims hole that doesn't appear to have any end in sight. I rapidly acquired 3 and started playing that too, and then caved within a day of 4 being released so all

I looooooooooove Sims 2 and have been playing it recently. My new character Tal Kira just got turned into a witch, and this is AWESOME.

OMG. That is so awesome! I can't wait for supernatural creatures to be added to 4 so I can have a Buffy house and a (heh) Supernatural house there. In the meantime I still have 2!!! Which...I love more than 3 by a long shot, even though I appreciate a lot of aspects of 3. The sims themselves in 3 aren't as...personable, though.

If you love sims 2 you will definitely love sims 4, btw. They brought back all the charm of the sims themselves and added the emotions and multi-tasking so it's kind of AMAZEBALLS. It's still thin on some classic sim stuff because it's a base game (and they left out some things that I assume will be patched in later), but it's off to a REALLY GOOD START.
