and how bad is it?

not planting anything in the front anymore that we pay money for.  douche downstairs dug 1/3 of it up this morning, and buried some other stuff with the pile of dirt. 

my pants are too short today.  I look like a dork.

Well, I CAN make crab cakes.  they were gooood.  We also had a salad with cooked then chilled sugar snap peas and a parsley dill and madeira vinaigrette (I have about an ounce of madeira left at the bottom of the bottle, and it is good in dressings).  The salad was also gooood.  Then I had a little rest, and watched some of that Nicole Kidman movie ( Read more... )

I have a few things to say:
We got porch furniture this weekend
It rained, and we ate on the porch anyway, using the sun umbrella as a rain umbrella.
Fella played well at RIBFEST yesterday.

My husband is playing  the Chicago RIBFEST this weekend.  I hope it doesn't rain on him.  The Bon Mots play at 3pm on Sunday.  C'mon, you know you want some ribs!!

I did not buy coffee, but I have to buy lunch b/c I didn't make a sammich

I got a wireless headset. It clips on my ear so I am totally bluetooth all day.
whoot.

I have been doing a lot of cooking the last two nights.  I made chicken and biscuits in TWO variations (biscuit/dumpling) last night (which I hope will mean we won't be bored with it 3 days in a row for dinner.)  I have not been getting anything else done though.  I wish my new gym was open.  It is dull outside, but I am hot in here with my sweater ( Read more... )
