hey guys!
so it's been pretty busy here lately.  i've got lots of class work to do since all of our papers are due pretty much next week.  they're all on places we've been and other easy topics, so i'm not too worried about it ^_^ 
last weekend we went to Brighton to see the palace and the coastline.  it was absolutely beautiful and i'll definitely ( Read more... )

This is just sad. You take forever to post... then I take forever to see it!

I assume Carl hasn't seen your post either, or he'd have said something about getting your pictures of the Rosetta Stone!

How'd your trip go? The British Museum would be a like the Smithsonian I suppose... only older.

it was pretty much amazing...but super huge, like, can't possibly see the whole thing in one day kinda huge. they have a ginormous egyptian exhibit. it was funny, cause i overheard this little girl talking to her dad. she asked "how'd they get all this stuff??" and her dad said "they just...aquired it...yeah...they aquired it." that was just after we read the part where they talked about how they stole it all when the british raided egypt :-P

Those that have power, take from those who don't.
The world hasn't changed all that much. Then again I'm sure if you looked inside the insect world, or whatever, you'd probably find the same thing.

So you're just going to school to become the largest bug you can be.

With a hard exoskeleton... although I'm not sure how that makes sense, or fits in my analogy. But you get the point. (Except for the exoskeleton thing)
