I just sat less than 4 feet away from the Capernicus instruments...Those just happen to include the Antonio Amati "King Henry IV" violin, made in 1595, and one of only 70 surviving Stradivari cellos, made in the 1700's. The King Henry IV was played at least once by Mozart, himself. And...well...the cello is a Strad...made by the best string
