Y'know, I didn't think I would, but I really DID enjoy this! I don't mean that to sound rude, but the concept is a little distressing (I'm a big ol' marshmallow inside) and I didn't like the idea of poor Sherlock like that. So, not only did you make it work, you made it work well!

Our muses do such rude things to our boys, don't they? I was musing on why it may be that Sherlock has no interest in sex. And why Donovan calls him a freak. I'm laving Sally out of it.

I have to admit the concept had me worried more than a bit but I had really enjoyed your earlier piece ( actually the follow up to this one) so decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did, you made the whole disfigurement concept work for both characters as well as the story. Good Job!

Oh man, here I was expecting something outlandish and hilarious because of the title and all, and INSTEAD I get this incredibly well-written fic of DEPTH. Seriously, this is wonderful--just angsty and sweet enough--and I would LOVE to see more in this 'verse, if you've a mind! :)
