Ohh this was absolutely beautiful, sorry that I haven't commented before, but just had to read it again! The way you let them play this out is so believable, that Sherlock knows how John is going to react, and the way John deals with the whole thing is just so them! And the use of surnames *giggles* brilliant!

The use of surnames came about because I think "Holmes" and "Watson" so that is what I kept typing. I have a bit buzzing about in my head where they use the code in front of others.
