You are awesome because you're very, very intelligent and knowlegeable, but still have a sense of humor. So many people get hyped up and upset when challenged, and you can shrug it off, laugh about it, and make the other person look rather silly in the process. That takes some SERIOUS skillz (with a z)!

When challenged, you defend them, but if you're corrected, you take the correction politely and graciously. That is an skill that many people never develop, and it's very refreshing to see!
