Bear made it through the night, and I visited him again yesterday afternoon. Still no improvement. The vet called last night to tell me they were losing hope. They will check his kidney levels one more time this morning, and if there is still no improvement, I guess we’re giving up

You could cremate him so that you could keep him. That is what I would have done with Tank had we not been in the middle of a move from New Orleans. I will probably do that with all of my future pets.
