Wudturnr posting as a guest. To quote your Mother when she saw that last picture: "What a daughter we have! Where did she come from?"

The signs fabricfanatic September 9 2005, 00:03:19 UTC
I love the signs in the first photo. I'm thinking about posting a similar one in our area. Actually, the POA wants some sort of sign to slow drivers down but haven't come up with one yet. Maybe the "Drive slowly--Watch for children and animals" sign would be good.

Hi Heather...

I'm Stacy (or SL as they call me) and I'm one of Heidi's internet friends. :) We have met in person, though. LOL

I friended you and hope you see our family pic w/ Jeff Corwin. We met him yesterday. When someone asked him what were some of his most memorable animal experiences, the first he metioned was working w/ the grizzlies. What a small world, huh? Although, I wish I could have thrown your name out there yesterday. Maybe that would have gotten us more time w/ Jeff. :)

I'm showing my boys your pics and they love the couple they've seen.

I hope you don't mind that I friended you. :)

Stacy

Hi, Stacy!

That's great that you've added me to your flist!!! I'm excited!

You met Jeff just three days after he had been kneeling next to that grizzly! He had mentioned how he was going to be visiting with soldiers...what a friggen small world!!!! That's very cool! He was pretty quiet with most of us, too...wasn't the most social guy, in fact, in the two times we were with him, I hardly got any words with him...it wasn't until the BBQ night that he actually made conversation with me!

He really does love bears...getting to touch a grizzly was a highlight for him...in all of the shows about bears he's done, he's never been up close to a drugged one and he was just LOVING it!
