Well….we didn’t have any bears today…none…nada…zilch…zippo…AND it’s still raining! UGH! So, we had to drive to West Glacier for gas and stopped in to say hello to the DNA crew and yacked with them for a bit…then headed up Hay Creek and pulled the snare on that one since we have to go down for a couple of days to take care of Tim and Carol’s crew while they go to Washington for a concert. We then went up Red Meadow to see if we could hear that female…she was nowhere to be found…so then we went to Spruce Creek and shut down the culvert trap. So, the only traps we have up right now are the three in Coal Creek and we’ll shut them down tomorrow if we don’t have a bear.
We stopped in Hay Creek to let the pups out for a strech and some water:

We got back to the Palace about 4:00 and cleaned up the place a bit, although no one will be coming up while we’re gone. I took a hot bath and D’s taking a shower, we’ll have dinner and maybe curl up with a book or a movie again tonight
