So Alice showed me how to play chinese checkers and boy is it confusing! It doesn't make any sense because there's nothing chinese about it and the pieces just sit there and do nothing! I think it's got to be broken or something like that because we had to move the pieces by picking them up and putting them back down again ( Read more... )

ludo you twit it's a muggle game so of course the pieces dont move by themselves

i think courting means they are seeing each other or something

i think it was the beets as we both ate that and i feel sick too

Oh but I thought muggles were clever and had things that did that! I can see you so are we courting?! Do we get to see the queen and then all of us can court?

no they have these things called batterings and they can make some of their toys come alive but not like we can i dont think. my uncle was rather tipsy at the time so i might not have that all right but thats what he said

no i think it means that they are seeing eachother romantically and i hope you dont want to see me romantically

What, seeing each other with candles and roses?? My mother says that's what romantic means! Do you have roses and candles? I don't remember ever seeing you with roses and candles therefore I suppose we're not courting!

Still wondering about the queen though!

Courting is a ritual of AFFECTION! When two people are in LOVE, they must court BEFORE they are allowed to marry. It is an ADMIRABLE ritual, Mr Bagman, and I am SURE you would do well NOT to mock it!
