Hi, Fandom! It's me again, Sparks, because squirrels are kind of evil and they have me outnumbered. If you've ever been accosted by two dozen squirrels in your bed first thing in the morning, you'll know what I mean. I just hope they didn't wake anybody else up. Furry little jerks.

But, you know, I'm here, right? So I might as well get this over with. They'll get sick of me someday and move on to someone else, I'm sure.

Maybe.

I hope.

Uh. Yeah. So, over at the School, there were classes. It's kind of what schools do. Except for Emergency Medical Situations, I guess, because their teacher was out sick. There's a joke about irony in there somewhere, I'm sure of it. Literature had a class, at least. Kind of. In that the teacher was there, but she was actually the cleaning lady. That's kind of... no, actually, that sounds exactly like something Fandom would do. Maybe there was a gremlin bite involved? Friendship is Baking - and I love that class name and I can't possibly say that with enough enthusiasm to portray as many exclamation points as it deserves this early in the morning - actually did have a teacher. One out of two, anyway, and she was a princess with wings and a horn and a coconut bra. Which... probably wasn't made of spiders like Mavis thought. That would kind of add a level of horrifying to this news broadcast that I don't want to think about too hard. At all.

Sholeh was going through some of the new books in the library when Squall came in, wondering why there weren't people there researching some kind of portals-attacking-people crisis. Uh... that's a good question. Portals are attacking people? People might want to be more careful than usual when booking something through Portalocity for a bit, I guess. I mean, not me. My parents don't want me using Portalocity again after That One Time, anyway.

... Why are you squirrels looking at me like that? Me visiting home covered in burrito cheese from a bad stopover isn't that tragic.

They're, uh, crying now. Ooookay.

The Dorms were pretty quiet yesterday, except for Joker and his space-monkey playing video games in the fourth floor common room.

And finally, in Town, the staff of Luke's wasn't letting Kenzi wiggle out of polar bear related activities. I'm pretty sure there are workplace laws about making you work with giant bears if you feel unsafe. Last I checked, anyway. You might want to look into that, Kenzi. Squall and Rinoa's dog were looking through the park, I guess maybe for killer portals or something, but all they found was a burned patch of grass. Eleanor was listening to random music at the Groovy Tunes, which she learned is a kind of dangerous operation when she came across a song about guys with short dicks that apparently was a thing some time before I was born. Victor was talking to his mom on the phone in Spanish over at the Stark Industries, which is making the squirrels cry again. Seriously, Spanish isn't unto itself actually a tragedy, guys. Elsa's first shift at the Magic Box involved reading books with runes in them - okay, that's a life skill I want to learn and will probably never use - and pointing out the bloodstone polish to Cecil before showing Rinoa a book she found with actual spells in it.

... I want that job. Neat!

Last note but not least, Jake spent a lot of his evening shaking Tino down at Caritas for calling him by name.

I know this goes without saying, but, you know, this place is kind of weird, sometimes. And that's all I have for notes this week, so I'm going to go back to bed, or maybe start writing cover letters for the schools I want to apply to. Someone make me stop procrastinating. Or do it for me? I'd love you forever if you just went and did it for me.
