title: Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced
pairing: Dom/Billy
rating: PG-13 (just for language)
words: 1600+
summary: Dom is drunk and has something to discuss with Billy.
author's note: This lil scene was inspired by a bit from the RotK EE features, where Viggo kisses Billy. Here's a link for those that don't know what I'm talking about. Thanks as always to my brainspouses, silentdescant & wonder_walldbc for the cheering and putting up with me. Also, this is the first fic I've done where most of it was written on my new first-ever cell phone on buses and in waiting rooms. YAY NOTEPAD. LOL Oh, and the title comes from the Dropkick Murphys song of the same name. :D

The first thing that Billy thought when he was jolted awake by Dominic pounding on the door and yelling his name was that he had overslept and was going to be late for Feet. Then his eyes adjusted and his brain woke up a bit, and he realized that A: he was in a hotel room, B: it was 2004 so he hadn't had to worry about Feet for quite a while now, and C: it was 2 o'clock in the morning, according to the alarm clock that was glaring red at him.

"BIIILLLYYYY! It's Dooommmm. Open the doooorrrr!" Now the knocking and loud voice were joined by the scraping noise of a keycard being clumsily swiped in the lock.

"Shut it! I know it's you, I'm coming!" Billy hissed towards the door, pulling on a pair of jeans from the floor. He shook the remaining cobwebs of sleep from his mind and sighed quietly to himself as he walked, "Idiot."

A whine came from the hallway and a single kick made the door shudder. "M'not an idiot." The scraping noises started again.

Billy chuckled in spite of himself, and spoke louder this time. "No, you're a genius." Coming to the door, he opened it and deftly caught Dom around the waist as the younger man fell into the room.

"Billy, I fell." Nearly horizontal, Dom made no effort to move from Billy's hold.

"Yes, you did."

"You caught me." Since Dom was facing the floor, Billy couldn't see him grin, but he could hear it in his voice.

"Yes," Billy sighed as he kicked the door shut behind them, "I did. Now come on." He hefted Dom up to his feet.

For a moment, Dom tried to right himself and walk on his own. It quickly became obvious to both of them that this could lead to personal injury or property damage of some kind, so Dom just slung an arm around Billy and held on as he was led into the darkened sitting room to the nearby sofa. He flopped down giggling to himself.

Billy turned on a single lamp and crouched down in front of Dom so they were eye level. "Dom, why're you knockin' on my door in the middle of the night?"

"My cardkey wouldn't work."

"That's because this is my room, not yours." Billy spoke calmly, as if to a child. "Did you forget your room number?"

Snorting out another soft giggle, Dom shook his head. "No, silly. I wanted to see you. Had something to tell you."

"Something that couldn't wait 'til tomorrow? What?"

Dom grinned widely and leaned in, his face close to Billy's. "You love me."

Billy blinked, then rolled his eyes. "Of course I love you, ya daft bastard. Come on, back to your room." He rose to his feet and grabbed Dom's hands, about to pull him up off the sofa.

Instead, Dom pulled Billy down onto the cushions next to him, interlacing their fingers as he spoke. "No. 'M stayin' here. And so are you, because you love me. I figured it out." He grinned again, obviously proud of himself.

Tired of this whole business already, Billy just wanted to free himself, send Dom away to sleep off what would surely be a killer hangover, and collapse back into bed. So he was a bit surprised when he did none of those things and heard himself ask, "Figured out what, exactly?"

"Told you. You love me. Really actually love me. Because you never kissed me!" Dom was triumphant.

Billy blinked. Again. "I don't-- What the hell are you -- We didn't-- We've kissed! Plenty of times!"

That was not the way he had intended that sentence to go.

"Well yeah, but no. I've kissed you. You've kissed practically everybody, including Viggo I found out today, but not me. Cuz you love me." Dom pulled on Billy's hands again, dragging his best mate nearly into his lap.

There was a blush creeping up Billy's face, he could feel it and he hated it. "So because I never snogged you, I must love you?? You're drunker than I thought." He moved to back away, but Dom held him firm, even hooking a leg over one of Billy's. "Let me the fuck up, Dom."

"No," Dom replied simply, his grin softening. "You're gonna listen to me, cuz I'm probly LESS drunk than you think." A pause. "Okay, not too much less, but LESS. I just carried on to get you to let me in."

Sighing, Billy let some of the tension relax from his muscles. "Fine, I'm listening, and then you're goin' back to your room and lettin' me get some sleep, wanker."

Dom continued as if Billy hadn't spoken. "See, when they told me about Viggo kissing you, after I laughed my arse off I got to thinkin'. You kissed Lij that first time just to make him laugh when he was homesick. You kissed Astin at that party to shock the hell out of him. Bean was drunk off his arse and you kissed him to finally win that bet without getting your face punched in. Everybody snogged Orli. And I know the only reason you didn't snog Viggo first was cuz you didn't want to offend him or somethin', he's so fucking zen sometimes." He giggled again, shaking his head.

"Jesus Christ, that was all just, you know, a bit of fun, you make me sound like a slag," Billy muttered as he shifted uncomfortably, trying to edge further back a bit. He tried to swallow, but his throat was dry.

Dom shot him a stern don't-you-dare look and kept on. "But. You've barely ever even kissed my cheek. And tonight I figured out why." He glanced down at their entwined hands, his long fingers gently rubbing over Billy's, then looked back up into Billy's eyes. "You don't trust yourself to just pop me a kiss because you love me and you're scared."

Billy stared at their hands, trying to keep very still. "You're talking bollocks."

"Then why are you shaking?"

"Because you're making me fucking nervous with this shite," Billy growled out. "I listened to you, now listen to me: you're drunk and you don't know what you're saying, so just go pass out in your own damn room, okay?" He yanked backwards roughly, tearing his hands free of Dom's.

"Oh, you idiot." Suddenly, faster than Billy would have thought possible if he had had time to think, Dom lunged upwards and grabbed the front of Billy's shirt, hauling Billy back down to land sprawled in his lap, and slammed their mouths together.

This was nothing like their previous kisses. This was no holiday party, no winning goal at a footie match, no teary farewell. Billy struggled in Dom's grip, but Dom held him like a vise until the fight drained from Billy and into Dom's eager mouth. When Billy finally relaxed, it was Dom's turn to growl, the satisfied sound rising deep in his throat as he pushed Billy's lips open further with his own to tease his tongue inside.

This small act of aggressiveness sparked a definite reaction in Billy. His legs clamped down on either side of Dom's to straddle him tightly, and his right hand found itself fisted in Dom's hair, jerking his head back as Billy took charge. Any squeak of surprise that Dom might have made was swallowed by Billy's assault on his mouth. Dom practically melted beneath the onslaught of teeth and tongue, giving himself over to the point of craning his head back further into Billy's grasp. Releasing his hold on Billy's shirt, Dom's hands slid down Billy's body before coming to a rest on his thighs.

They remained that way, Billy taking what he wanted with surprising hunger and Dom giving it to him without reserve, until Billy gradually slowed. He broke the kiss, panting with his lips still grazing against Dom's. The hand in Dom's hair let go and gently stroked down to Dom's neck. Almost purring, Dom's tongue snaked out to flick against Billy's lips. Billy chuckled breathlessly, "You're too damn smart for your own good, Dommeh."

"Mmmm, I dunno. Seems to be doing me a lot of good right now," he said with a smile.

Another weak chuckle from Billy. "Okay, too smart for my own good, then." He rested his forehead against Dom's for a moment and sighed.

"Oi! I think I've just been insulted." Dom smirked.

Yet again, Billy rolled his eyes. As he spoke, he pulled back slightly to settle his weight on Dom's lap. "You know what I mean. Have you thought about what this would mean, what could happen? I didn't want to risk ruining what we have, if I lost you, and what about--"

Dom raised a finger to Billy's lips, cutting off his rambling. "I love you, too."

"That solves all of it, then, does it?" Billy asked wryly from behind Dom's finger.

"Yeah," Dom grinned, dropping his hand back to Billy's thigh, "it kinda does."

Billy felt his face flushing again, and was grateful for the low light. "So... Now what?"

"Can I stay?" Dom asked, more serious.

Biting his lip nervously, Billy looked as if he might start rambling again. "Uh, you've been drinking, and I don't really want our first--"

Dom interrupted him. "Not for that. Though," he giggled, running his hands up Billy's legs, "I do like where your mind is going. No, tonight I just mean to sleep. With you."

"Yeah... Yeah, I'd like that," Billy replied softly, easing into a grin himself.

"Brilliant. Then there's just one problem."

"What? You need to get something from your room?" Billy asked, shifting to get up.

"No." Dom pulled Billy down close to his face again. "You still haven't kissed me."

Billy grinned wider and closed the small gap between them, kissing Dom soundly.
