My favorite bits from your stories tend to involve the Doctor's often inadvertent use of casually devastating one liners, easily crushing River's unsurprisingly delicate heart if only for a brief moment and then scrambling to fix it. "You're not my friend, River." Ouch. Just, ouch. But then he's able to explain away his faux pas in the most endearing way that just leaves me swooning. I so love it. Most eagerly awaiting your next!

Also, if you didn't notice, the two fics previous to this one are new as well - I posted three for the fic exchange here :) And I am SO GLAD you checked my profile. I worry that not all my readers will get the notification. It's nothing to do with th epolicy changes at FFn honestly, but I just got a bit upset with their absolute lack of response to my numerous emails to them regarding my suspension. Just too much hassle - I'd rather just post here and at AO3, where I can rate accordingly. Also, if you've not been here before - there is one E rated fic I wrote that I never posted at FFn, because of it's rating. It's here: http://fandom-bitches.livejournal.com/76690.html

I feel like you've explored SO MUCH here. I think because they're both still at their beginnings, trying to figure out what this thing is that they have and how it works. I love the Doctor pretending to be older than he is, to know so much more than either of them do at this point, and how she can tell that he's lying. And all their careful probing and exploring of one another. And everything else. Gorgeous.
