Let's get things kicked off, shall we? For our very first challenge, the totally arbitrary theme I picked out of the air is:

The Alphabet!Which means all you have to do is pick a letter, pick a character whose name starts with that letter, and draw a picture. Let's set the deadline at a month from now; in the meantime, feel free to post any ( Read more... )

this is the beauty of the alphabet challenge: unless you pick, like, Q, you have a *lot* of options.

I think it's ironic that after you made that comment, someone chose Q.

Does it have to be ONLY that character, or can it be a scene with that character in it, I wonder..........?

Oh, you can have other people in it if you like-- just, the person you picked has to be the focus.

F'rex, I dooded Meg Murray facing off against Charles Wallace and IT, but since Meg's the focus of the picture I can't call that a C picture or an I-- it's got to be M, for Meg.

um... so i just realized i had random BWs of power girl, wonder woman, vixen, and black canary on my comp... are any of those available?

ok... so if it's alright with you... i'm gonna take W for Wonder woman, and B for black canary. (i have one of power girl that i'll post... but i couldn't line art it... so i just desaturated it. (it won't be an official sub, but i'll just post it for the heck of it)

Y'know, you can totally submit things that aren't related to the challenge-- we've got a month before everyone has to have their alphabet pictures done, and I'm sure people will want to post other stuff in the meantime. Don't worry about making them match the current theme.

I'd like to take T for Teyla Emmagan. Unless I decide to change it to Ted Kord. Or Jaye Tyler? Are we permitted more than one submission if time allows? If not, I can narrow down. :)

I just discovered this little community and just wanted to share that I absolutely love the idea behind it. Shall be sure to spread the word!

Oh, man, you totally should do Ted and Teyla *together*. No, seriously, it makes sense! In... my head. Um.

But, yes, you can do as many as you can think of T names for. I myself have already done two.
