I find it particularly interesting that things have seemed to have gotten worse.
The political climate of the fandom community, i.e. the isolation of all those with conservative values, is just a big example of why the hypocrisy is at it's worse.

Bad grammar shows carelessness and ignorance in writing. Writing is a metaphor and a symbol for all things, including life and opinions.

As such, bad grammar equals stupid people. :)

If things have got worse then it's because people knee-jerk against the restrictive, narrow-minded and petty opinions displayed by people such as yourself. How does it feel to have contributed to the 'problem' you're trying to stop?

If "conservative values" are isolated then that's not an example of fandom hypocrisy. Rather it shows that you and those who share your views are, what we in the business term a minority. That, my friend, is democracy in action. Suck it up and deal, bitch.
