Willy Wonka appeared outside the massive building. Checking to make sure he tinted the glass on the elevator, he stepped out onto the street

Greta heard the first loud "PING" of the bell through the blissful euphoric haze that she had managed to find herself in. She jolted slightly from her sleepy state thinking that she may have imagined it but then heard it again. She got up and looked around the office, confused. Then she heard it again and decided to investigate. She lit a cigarette and then sauntered out to the front desk where she saw a very strange looking man in a top hat. She frowned at the man, convinced that she must be hallucinating.
"Oh, well there you are. I knew if I rang this bell several times you'd appear and there you are. Just like a little elf. POP!" He said with a nod. "Of course I rang twice before but you didn't appear. You must have not heard me or else you were sleepy. You lazy little thing, there is work to be done."
He extended his purple gloved hand, "Hello, I'm Willy Wonka. You must be...." He looked around for a name badge and saw nothing. "Well you must just be you, aren't you? So how are you?"
Greta took a very deep drag of her cigarette as the strange person before her rambled on and then closed her eyes for several seconds when he stopped in an effort to clear herself of the hallucination. Opening one eye slowly she noticed he was still standing there. She sighed and then took another drag. She took a step closer. "Greta," she said slowly, now frowning slightly. "Is this real life?"
"Well..." Willy Wonka looked around, "Yes it is. At least it was when I got off the elevator outside." He reached over and pinched himself on the arm, "OUCH!" He said loudly and then laughed, "Well that really hurt so obviously we're not dreaming you and I."
Murdock paused as he crossed the lobby. Was that a guy in a top hat? Maybe he was just imagining things again. Or, even better, maybe there really was a dude in a colorful suit. It was kinda cool.
"Hey," he said by way of greeting. "You wouldn't happen to be the bellhop would ya?"
"Well no, I don't hop on bells. I just ring them like this." He hit the bell gently to make it ring out. "You could call me a bell ringer if you're so inclined, though my name is Willy." He tipped his hat, "And what's your name?"
"Yah, I reckon it would have to be a very large bell to be hopped on. Murdock," he grinned and tipped his hat as well. "Just moved in coupla days ago."
"Oh what a coincidence, I'm moving in today!" he exclaimed excitedly, waving around his key. "Lucky number 9. I do hope its lucky. I always find 7 is luckier than 9 but she said this was lucky number 9 so I have to trust her."
