So I am an idiot and I offered two of the same thing, to the two highest bidders, in the same thread. (I even read the rules beforehand, but then forgot when I actually posted... And here's the problem thread, for reference.) So umm, I guess my question is, does this pose huge issues? since it's now too late for me to go back and edit the thread? And if it does.. what do you recommend I do? I AM SO SORRY FOR BEING SO STUPID.

Funny you should mention this because I was just updating my spreadsheet of DOOOOM and I noticed your wording on your entry...!

So, just to clarify, you're offering ONE podfic to your TWO highest bidders? Is that correct?

And don't worry, I'll sort something out :)

So sorry it took me so long to respond, but thanks so much for answering my question! SILLY, SILLY ME.

So I've finally fixed things, well, I've added two new threads. Hopefully things are clearer now! Here and here. (One for one podfic up to 5k, one for one podfic up to 10k.)

So yes, one podfic to each of the two highest bidders is what I'd intended. I still want to offer two podfics, which is why I created the two threads. I wouldn't even mind being in contact with the bidders, if it'd be easier for you. And I really wouldn't mind. Just give me the go ahead, and I'll do so, and then I can let you know when everyone has acknowledged, so that you can delete the problem thread. Or if you think it's better, you can contact. Whatever is better. :)

Yeah, go ahead and contact your bidders. It's probably easier that way as you're not going back and forth through a third person. If they transfer their bids to your two new threads, let me know and I'll delete the original one to prevent any confusion.

No, it's fine! I've been away for the past couple of days anyway, that thing called real life happened to me too [in the shape of a Coldplay concert so... it was pretty awesome actually!!].

I've deleted the original thread and made note of the new ones.

I maaaay have sent a comment already, but I don't know if it went through. So I'll try here :)

Would it be okay if I offered up art for auction, but stated plainly in my auction post that I likely wouldn't be able to begin on the art until January? I really want to help, but I'm moving, and have other fandom obligations (signed up for one too many!) to take care of through December.

There are a few people who've said things along these lines so you're not alone. It's a crazy busy time of year in general after all.

Yeah, this is something we've done in the past. Listed by fandom and type and different things and included links.

I will see what I can come up with this afternoon :)
