*cry* I want to know from those who actually watched, was that a legitimate penalty kick? The minimal info I was getting made it sound like Italy shouldn't have gotten that penalty kick. Dammit, I really was pulling for Australia.

The commentator over at my end was surprised that Italy was awarded the penalty kick, but I can't say the penalty was entirely unwarranted either. Lucas Neill should've known better. ;_;

The way I saw it that was no foul. But if the ref sees a foul, it has to be a penalty, because it definitely took place in the penalty area.
