Found this through the remixredux09, and I must say that I loved this. I'm especially intrigued by how the series of events isn't more Andromeda's choice, but more of how she simply lived with the tides. And the last line pwns me. YES. Amazing. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for reading! I'd seen so many versions of Andromeda's story where she's the bold, brave sister that I wanted to flip that on its head, and think about the possibility that she was just trapped by circumstance like most everyone else in the HP world. Glad you enjoyed :)

this one in particular really stuck with me.

I also came here via the remix. Both stories are wonderful in very different ways.
I'm endlessly interested in the Blacks and especially, the three witches. But the bonus here is that I find Andromeda to be the most overlooked of them. This is a fantastic tale told in the most wrenching manner. I'm saving it to savor again because it has subtlety that I'm sure I haven't fully appreciated yet.

haha i as well, came here from remix. i have to say that this is a beautiful story that really struck a chord with me. i love how this flows and dips around the few plot points there are to work with, it just makes so much sense.

Sirius could see nothing at all in the people he supposedly knew and that's why Sirius, strong, bold Sirius died.

That line in particular broke my heart. Thank you for writing this, it's going straight into my memories. (:
