Once the class was assembled this week, Jaina got right to the point. "We're going to have a little bit of fun today. Hopefully," she said, showing them the image of this week's
ship. "This is an A-wing. Now, I'll admit they're not the easiest things to fly. If you can't work the stabilizers, you'll end up in a spin, and you don't want to take too many hits in these things. But we're not worrying about that so much here. Instead we're focusing on the fact that the A-wings are fast and really maneuverable, which is good because today you're racing."
See, that even got a smile out of her. "Pair up if you want, otherwise I'll set you up against another A-wing in the sim," she went on. "Take some time to practice, see whether you think a roll is fun, whatever, and then you just have to beat the other person to the marker. You can try and overtake each other, just don't try to shoot the other person down unless you both agree to it. Getting killed when you were just trying to race kind of ruins some of the fun."
