Stacey was not a light packer, and some of her things had even been sent ahead. There were a few pieces of luggage at her feet, and while she was keeping a close eye on them (she was from New York, crime was a thing there), she was also checking out the people here, and maybe trying to gauge the boy situation.

Anakin sort of glanced her way, more interested in the suitcases than anything else, really. That was a lot of stuff.

"Are you going to need help with those?"

If he couldn't do anything heroic, he might as well do something useful.

"There's more at home," she admitted. "I tried to stick to just the essentials but it kind of got out of hand." She blamed it on so much time spent living in New York, where the apartments were the size of shoeboxes.

"Anakin, huh? Interesting name." Maybe his parents were hippies.

The compliment got a tight, weird little smile out of him. "It's . . . unique," he agreed carefully.

The robes, quite possibly, encouraged the hippie theory.
