You know the drill. Coffee. Wonder what Dean's going on about. Eye the garbage bag full of assorted doll parts.

Contemplate making a break for it.

Take those mutilated dolls, and make them into something less... creepy. Some little kid from off the island is bound to appreciate them far more than Dean and his crowbar did.

Or steer clear of the dolls entirely and just work on your sculpture some more. Up to you.

Actually, trying to repair some dolls seemed like it might be fun! So Rapunzel was sitting there with a stack of odds and ends and some glue. She was sure she could find a way to make them super cute!

Dean, with his coffee, was sitting down and painstakingly trying to take a doll with a broken eye that was always open, and... if not fix it, at least come up for a use for it.

Steve thought that today would be a good day to stop by and see how Dean was adjusting to Fandom. You know, considering...everything. So at the end of class he leaned in the doorway and said, "You know, I had a lot more of those things in garbage bags at my apartment." Mostly exhibiting signs of doll blunt force trauma. "But this morning they were all gone. Strangest thing. Well. Not strangest."

Dean was holding his coffee cup like a lifeline as he turned to look at Steve, so sue him.

"Up there," he decided. "Pretty high up there. That kind of thing happen around here, like, regularly?"

"Not...exactly like that," Steve hedged, "but weird little incursions are a part of life, yes. It's not all bad. Sometimes they're friendly." And sometimes they were dolls that wanted to hug you...to death.
