Did some work for her classes, rearranged the furniture in her room and taken over part of Matt's closet... normal fun stuff. "I could be persuaded to make out on her bed," Claudia offered.

Wait, where had that come from?

"Uh, I mean, for revenge's sake. Um."

Look, it'd been awhile, okay? And Claudia kind of failed at flirting, anyway.

Matt's grin got a little bigger at that.

"And exactly how much persuasion would you need?" he teased/flirted. "For the sake of revenge, of course."

Matt would take no pleasure in it. Really.

Of course not. It was like doing something for science.

". . . A drink?" It seemed like the sort of demand a person was meant to make before make-outs. For revenge.

He had a nice smile.

"Hanging out at the very least."

"I can manage hanging out," Matt said holding out his hand to Claudia. "I think I even have a cold Fresca."

Fresca is totally valid drink option. And goes well with the taste of revenge.

Claudia was more of a cola girl, herself, but what the hey. She took his hand for a shake. "Well, then I guess it's a deal." And here she was just blushing a tiny bit. Excellent.

"Your dedication to the cause will be duly noted," Matt said offering his arm. "Come on. I'll show you the way."

Arm offering! How gallant. "Well then," Claudia said, accepting it. "Lead the way."

And thus the two went off for Fresca and make-outs of a handwavy fashion on Rebecca Logan's bed.
