Jude hadn't visited last night. And waking up with that knowledge left Flick shaken and worried that his brother wasn't going to be able to find him in this new place. Jessica was making her way back to her room after her radio broadcast when she heard the distinctive sound of people in the common room. So she stopped in.

"Good morning," she said. "What're we watching today?"

Right now, it was kind of big money for him. Sad state of affairs.

"Yeah, you can maybe get two whole packs of gum with five bucks," Flick said dryly. "I can see why you'd hound me for the money so badly. Gum is such an important commodity."
