Sadly for Thorin, Lucille happened to walk past the 4th floor common room.

"You are baking?"

She hadn't expected that.

"I am." So there. "It didn't seem difficult."

"I am sure someone with your talents finds it easy," Lucille said. "The flour in your beard suits you."

"More so than it suited you," he replied, trying to covertly clean his stubbly beard.
