Strokes of Genius: Thursday, 9/9

Sep 09, 2010 11:48

After a walk around the shop to re-familiarize herself with where everything was, Cally flipped the sign in the window to OPEN and found herself a seat behind the counter. She'd brought a book on computer-aided graphics over from a nearby shelf for something to read if things got dull, but for the moment she was working on a project of her own: tinkering with the frequencies on her data-pad.

A set of cellular telephone schematics laid out on the counter, she poked at the circuitry with a small laser-probe. The pad had a communication function; if she could adapt it to use current technology, she might manage to both make it function in lieu of a telephone, and tap into the planetary computer net. (It might take a while before she got used to 'World Wide Web.')

Strokes of Genius was open, if a bit less artistic than usual. (Then again, at least she wasn't cleaning guns.)

[OOC: Sleepy me=easy OCD. And rhymes.]
