Bobby, as it turned out, hadn't left the beach even as the siege continued in earnest. Maybe that hadn't been the safest choice, but it had been his to make, and after years of no choices whatsoever... Yeah.
But then reality folded in on itself, ice turned back into flesh, and things were right again.

Sookie had woken up in the hotel room she'd fallen asleep in last week, and for a few long seconds she'd thought she'd just had a terrible dream.
And then it all flooded back. Detention. Raven. Dying.
She didn't pause to do much other than pull a hoodie over the tank top and shorts she'd fallen asleep in before she was out the door. Bobby likely heard her coming -- she was in full-on telepathic brain-seeking mode, and running as fast as she was, it didn't take her long to find him.
And then she was running into him, clinging as tightly as she could and breathing an incoherent sob into his neck.

"It was real?" Sookie mumbled against his shoulder. She already knew the answer -- it felt real enough that she'd woken up in tears and stayed there -- but she needed to hear it out loud. "All of it?"

"All of it," Bobby nodded. "Including the part where you, you-" he couldn't even bring himself to say it. Not when he could still see it, in his mind's eye.

Bobby nodded. "It was- magic, I think?" he'd experienced power dampeners before, but those had taken away his powers. This... from what he remembered of it, it was closer to how he'd been after his encounter with Loki.
But then reality folded in on itself, ice turned back into flesh, and things were right again.
Well. Almost...

"You're here," he whispered wonderingly. "You're here." And not, you know. Dead.

She took a deep breath, reaching a hand up to his cheek. "You're not ice anymore."

She'd be trying to forget for a long time.

She shook her head out, clearing the cobwebs, before leaning her forehead against his. "Wanna get out of here?"
