The Park, 11;00

Apr 01, 2006 21:07

In a still clearing in the park, a large clearing had been prepared for the night’s symphony. In it, two chairs, three musical stands, and a raised platform had been erected.

An audience section had also been set up, with a large number of chairs for some and a cleared space for people who wanted to bring their own blankets.

Aside from that, though, the park was completely empty.

At eleven thirty, the Doctor, clad in, for the first time in no one knows how long, a clean lab coat, appeared with a violin and took a seat in one of the chairs and began tuning up his instrument. Not long after, the Captain appeared, dressed in a black uniform and a long coat. On his head was a black cap, with the Totenkopf skull emblazoned upon it. He sat down with a double bass and began to tune up.

On both their arms, red armbands.

At eleven forty-five, a low humming noise could be faintly heard, and three low shadows appeared in the far off sky. The slowly came to a stop and hung there, waiting.

At exactly midnight, the Major stepped up onto the platform. He was clad in usual white suit, though the one he had chosen for tonight seemed dressier, somehow.

He, also, had found a red armband.

He flipped through the music book and picked up his baton. He smirked at it, snapped it half, and threw it away. He raised his arms.

The Doktor leaned over in his seat and hit a small switch. Something in blinked on the shadows.

And, suddenly, the Park was full of people. An entire full symphony orchestra surrounded the Doktor and the Captain. On the left of the orchestra, a full chorus, and on the right, a rock band waited, a cigarette hanging from the lips of the drummer.

All of them were dressed in full Nazi regalia, the black dress uniforms of the Waffen SS. Totenkopf symbols and red armbands were much in evidence.

The main exceptions to this rule, and the most distinctive members of the orchestra aside from the Doktor and the Captain, were the lead soprano, the lead alto, the lead tenor, the lead bass, the lead flautist, the xylophonist, the lead guitarist for the band, and the band’s drummer.

The Major surveyed his orchestra.

And he signaled to his players to start the symphony.

[[OOC: OCD threads coming up as fast as I can throw them up. THREADS UP! SO SO SORRY FOR BEING SO LATE! Feel free to react to anything off the threads. Sorry for being so late, should've worked on this earlier. Yes, they're all dressed in full Nazi regalia. They're evil and they're not afraid to admit it. Also, if you still need sampling, the Major, Doctor, and Captain are all hanging around after the performance.]]
